Overview
Semo 7mg Tablet contains Semaglutide (7mg). It comes as a tablet.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. It helps the body release insulin when sugar is high, slows stomach emptying and reduces appetite.
Uses of Semo 7mg Tablet
Semo 7mg Tablet is used for:
- Type 2 diabetes, with diet and exercise
- Lowering the risk of heart problems in some people with type 2 diabetes
- Weight management in adults, with products approved for this use
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Semo 7mg Tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Nausea
- Vomiting, diarrhoea or constipation
- Reduced appetite
- Stomach pain
Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.
Precautions
Get help for severe, lasting tummy pain, which may be pancreatitis. Do not use it if you or your family have had medullary thyroid cancer. Low blood sugar can happen when it is used with insulin or sulfonylureas. It is not used in pregnancy, and people with diabetic eye disease should have eye checks.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How to Use
Take Semo 7mg Tablet exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
