Genart 40mg injection contains Artemether (40mg). It comes as a injection. The pack contains 10 amp injection.
Artemether is an antimalarial medicine, most often combined with lumefantrine. It acts quickly to clear the malaria parasite from the blood and is a first-line treatment for uncomplicated malaria.
Uses of Genart 40mg injection
Genart 40mg injection is used for:

- Usually given as a fixed combination with lumefantrine
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Genart 40mg injection can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

Precautions
Take artemether with a fatty meal or milk, which greatly improves how much of the medicine is absorbed. See a doctor urgently if malaria symptoms are severe – high fever with confusion or breathing trouble needs hospital care, not oral tablets.
