Biolan Gel gel is a joint lubricant injection and eye lubricant from Glaxo Smithkline (pvt) Ltd. Its active ingredient is Sodium Hyaluronate.

Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form of hyaluronic acid, a substance the body already makes to hold water in tissue and to cushion joints. In medicine it is used where that natural lubrication has thinned out.
