Actifed-DM 1.25mg/30mg/10mg syrup is a combination cough and cold remedy from Glaxo Smithkline (pvt) Ltd. Its active ingredients are Triprolidine, Pseudoephedrine and Dextromethorphan. Pack: 90ml syrup.

Triprolidine: Triprolidine is a sedating antihistamine. Pseudoephedrine: Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant. Dextromethorphan: Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant used to relieve a dry, tickly cough.

Actifed-DM 1.25mg/30mg/10mg syrup is used to treat or manage:

Side Effects of Actifed-DM 1.25mg/30mg/10mg syrup

  • Restlessness or trouble sleeping
  • Nausea
  • Fast heartbeat

Before You Use Actifed-DM 1.25mg/30mg/10mg syrup

  • Do not take Actifed-DM 1.25mg/30mg/10mg Syrup if you have taken an MAOI in the last two weeks, and check with your pharmacist if you take antidepressants.
  • Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma or an enlarged prostate.
  • It can cause drowsiness, so avoid driving, operating machinery and alcohol.
  • Do not give it to children under 6 years, and ask a doctor before use in older children.
  • Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor, and do not use it for longer than a few days.

Storage

Store below 30°C, away from light. Shake well if the label says so and close the cap after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.
