Before You Use Rimthree – FDC 150mg + 75mg + 275mg tablet

  • Take it every day for the whole course; missing doses or stopping early can lead to drug-resistant TB.
  • Liver tests are needed, especially if you have liver disease or drink alcohol; avoid alcohol during treatment.
  • Rifampicin reduces the effect of many medicines, including hormonal contraceptives, warfarin, diabetes and HIV medicines; use a non-hormonal method of contraception.
  • Report any change in your eyesight promptly, as ethambutol can affect the optic nerve.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; TB treatment is usually continued under close supervision.
