Spasmo-Cibalgin tablet is used to treat or manage:

  • Intestinal colic
  • Period pain (dysmenorrhoea)
  • Renal colic
  • Biliary colic

Side Effects of Spasmo-Cibalgin tablet

Not everyone gets side effects. Those reported include:

  • Dry mouth
  • Nausea or stomach upset

  • Blurred vision
  • Constipation
  • Skin rash

Get medical help straight away for signs of a serious reaction, such as swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing or a severe rash.

Before You Use Spasmo-Cibalgin tablet

  • Do not take it if you are allergic to pyrazolone medicines (such as metamizole) or have had asthma or rash after aspirin or other painkillers.
  • Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, difficulty passing urine, bowel obstruction or myasthenia gravis, as the antispasmodic component can make these worse.
  • Let your doctor know about any blood disorder, porphyria, or liver or kidney disease.
  • Spasmo-Cibalgin Tablet can cause dizziness or blurred vision, so do not drive or operate machinery if you are affected.
  • Avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless a doctor specifically recommends it.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C in the original pack. Do not use after the expiry date, and keep all medicines away from children.
