Using Topical Products Correctly

Apply topical medicines only to the area your doctor advised, and wash your hands before and after unless the product is for the hands themselves. Avoid getting skin creams into the eyes, and use only preparations clearly labelled for the eyes there. If the skin becomes more red, itchy or sore after use, stop and ask your pharmacist or doctor.
