METRONIDAZOLE
Metronidazole is an antibiotic that also treats certain parasite infections. It is used for dental, gut, and some gynaecological infections.

- Some vaginal and parasitic infections
Common Side Effects
- Metallic taste in the mouth
- Nausea
- Loose motions
Precautions
Do not drink alcohol during metronidazole treatment or for a couple of days after, as together they can cause flushing, a racing heart and vomiting. Take it with food, and finish the full course. Tell your doctor about any previous reaction to it.
