Overview

Amoxi-Clav 375mg tablet contains Co-Amoxiclav (375mg). It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 2×3's tablet.

Co-amoxiclav combines amoxicillin with clavulanic acid, which helps it work against bacteria that ordinary amoxicillin cannot. It is used for a wide range of bacterial infections.

Uses of Amoxi-Clav 375mg tablet

Amoxi-Clav 375mg tablet is used for:

  • Chest, throat and sinus infections
  • Ear infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin and dental infections

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Amoxi-Clav 375mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Loose motions or diarrhoea
  • Nausea
  • Skin rash

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.

Precautions

Take it with the first bite of a meal to reduce stomach upset, and finish the full course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor about any past reaction to penicillin. It does not work on colds, flu or other viral illness.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Take Amoxi-Clav 375mg tablet exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
