Dalacin-T 0.01 lotion contains Clindamycin. It is a medicine for use on the skin.

Uses of Dalacin-T 0.01 lotion

Dalacin-T 0.01 lotion is used for:

  • Acne (pimples)
  • Including red
  • Inflamed acne spots

Side Effects

Common side effects of Dalacin-T 0.01 lotion include:

  • Dryness, peeling or redness of the skin
  • Burning or stinging when applied

Stop using it and see a doctor if the skin becomes very red, swollen or blistered.

Precautions

  • Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin.
  • Keep it away from the eyes, lips and the corners of the nose.
  • Use sunscreen during the day, as acne treatments can make the skin sensitive to the sun.
  • It can take 6 to 8 weeks to see results, so do not stop too early.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines you use, any allergies, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Clean and dry the affected skin, then apply a thin layer as your doctor or pharmacist advised. Wash your hands afterwards unless your hands are being treated. For external use only. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store as directed on the pack, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
