Dipodium 250Mg Syrup is prescribed for controlling epilepsy and certain seizure types (and some nerve-pain or mood uses). Use it only as advised by your doctor.
Used correctly, it reduces the frequency and severity of seizures.
The active ingredient is Sodium Valproate (250Mg). It calms excessive electrical activity in the brain. This targeted action is what makes it effective for its approved uses.
Always take it exactly as your doctor prescribes; this product is 250Mg. The right amount depends on your age, condition and response, so never increase, reduce or stop it on your own. If you are unsure, check the leaflet or ask your pharmacist.
Like all medicines, it may cause side effects in some people, such as drowsiness, dizziness, unsteadiness or mood changes. These are often mild and settle on their own, but seek medical advice if any are severe or persistent.
