Fytosid 100mg injection contains Etoposide (100mg). It comes as a injection. The pack contains 100 mg / 5 ml vial injection.

Etoposide is a chemotherapy medicine that stops cancer cells from dividing.

Uses of Fytosid 100mg injection

Fytosid 100mg injection is used for:

  • Small cell lung cancer
  • Testicular cancer
  • Lymphomas and some leukaemias

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Fytosid 100mg injection can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Low blood counts and higher infection risk
  • Hair loss
  • Nausea and loss of appetite
  • Tiredness

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.

Precautions

It is used only under a cancer team, with regular blood tests. Report fever or signs of infection at once and avoid pregnancy during treatment.
