Overview
Lamgin 50mg tablet contains Lamotrigine (50mg). It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 1×30's tablet.
Lamotrigine is used to control epilepsy and to help stabilise mood in bipolar disorder. It calms overactive nerve signals and the dose is built up very slowly.
Uses of Lamgin 50mg tablet
Lamgin 50mg tablet is used for:

- Bipolar disorder, to prevent low mood episodes
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Lamgin 50mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Headache and dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Skin rash, especially early on
Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.
Precautions
The dose is increased slowly for an important reason: raising it too fast raises the risk of a serious skin reaction. Tell your doctor straight away about any new rash, especially in the first weeks. Never stop lamotrigine suddenly, as this can trigger seizures.

How to Use

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
