Malin 60ml Lotion contains Permethrin. It comes as a lotion.

Permethrin is an insecticide used on the skin and hair. It kills the mites that cause scabies and head lice.

Uses of Malin 60ml Lotion

Malin 60ml Lotion is used for:

  • Head lice

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Malin 60ml Lotion can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Mild itching or burning of the skin
  • Redness or tingling

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.

Precautions

For external use only. Keep it away from the eyes and mouth. Itching can continue for a few weeks after scabies is treated. Close contacts and family members are usually treated at the same time, and clothes and bedding should be washed in hot water.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Clean and dry the affected skin, then apply a thin layer as your doctor or pharmacist advised. Wash your hands afterwards unless your hands are being treated. For external use only. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
