Ankle swelling and flushing are common at first and often settle. Take the slow-release form whole, without crushing. Do not stop it on your own, as blood pressure can rise again. Grapefruit juice can raise the level of nifedipine in the body, so avoid it.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Masdipine Sr 60mg Tablets exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
