Like all medicines, Mercip 500mg Tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.
Keep a gap of at least two hours between ciprofloxacin and any antacid, milk, or iron and calcium supplement, otherwise much less of the medicine is absorbed. Your skin may burn more easily in the sun. Contact your doctor if you develop tendon pain or any numbness and tingling.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Mercip 500mg Tablets exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
