The most important step in diarrhoea is replacing lost fluids and salts. Attapulgite is for short-term use and can affect the absorption of other medicines, so keep a gap of a couple of hours. See a doctor if there is blood in the stool, high fever, or signs of dehydration.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Neo-Intestopan 500mg tablet exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
