Neo Mercazole Tablets is mainly prescribed for treating an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism). Your doctor may also recommend it for related conditions, but you should use it only for the purpose it was prescribed.
Used correctly, it brings high thyroid hormone levels back to normal.
The active ingredient is Carbimazole. It reduces the thyroid gland’s production of thyroid hormone. This targeted action is what makes it effective for its approved uses.
