Spectrazol G Cream 10g is a combination medicine that contains Clotrimazole and Betamethasone. It comes as a cream. The pack contains 10 gm.

Uses of Spectrazol G Cream 10g

Spectrazol G Cream 10g is used for:

  • Fungal skin infections with marked inflammation, such as ringworm, athlete's foot and jock itch

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Spectrazol G Cream 10g can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Burning or stinging where applied
  • Skin thinning with long use
  • Itching

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away, and get urgent help for signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, wheezing or a widespread rash.

Precautions

For external use only. Use it only for the time advised, usually a short course, as long use of steroid creams can thin the skin. Do not use it on the face or under nappies unless your doctor tells you to.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Clean and dry the affected skin, then apply a thin layer as your doctor or pharmacist advised. Wash your hands afterwards unless your hands are being treated. For external use only. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
