Sulfur Oint. 120gm 5% is used for scabies in children. Use it exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has advised, and do not use it for longer than recommended.

Sulfur 5% in white soft paraffin.

How Sulfur Oint. 120gm 5% works

Sulfur has antiparasitic, antifungal and antibacterial effects. It helps clear scabies mites, fungal infections and acne spots, and loosens dead skin.

Possible side effects

Most people use this product without problems. Some may notice:

  • Dryness and mild irritation, and a slight smell

Precautions

  • Do a small patch test first, and keep it away from the eyes, lips, inside of the nose and broken skin unless your doctor says otherwise.
  • Stop using it and see your doctor if you notice severe redness, swelling, blistering or a rash.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using it on children, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
