Sodium valproate must not be used in pregnancy as it can seriously harm a baby, so anyone who could become pregnant needs reliable contraception and specialist advice. Never stop it suddenly, as this can trigger seizures. Tell your doctor about severe stomach pain, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Valpromed 500mg Tablet 100s exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
