AV-Sartan 10 mg/ 160 mg tablet is a combination of a calcium channel blocker and an angiotensin II receptor blocker from Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (pvt) Ltd. Its active ingredients are Amlodipine and Valsartan. Pack: 14 tablets.
Amlodipine: Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels to lower blood pressure. Valsartan: Valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels to lower blood pressure.

- Swelling of the ankles or feet
- Dizziness, particularly when standing up
- Headache
- Flushing or a feeling of warmth
- Tiredness

Before You Use AV-Sartan 10 mg/ 160 mg tablet
- Do not take AV-Sartan 10 mg/ 160 mg Tablet if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, as valsartan can harm the unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, heart failure, a narrowed heart valve or low blood pressure.
- Avoid potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium unless your doctor advises them, and mention if you take diuretics, lithium or painkillers such as ibuprofen or diclofenac.
- Get up slowly from sitting or lying down, and do not drive if you feel dizzy, especially when starting treatment.
- Your doctor may check your blood pressure, kidney function and potassium levels from time to time.

Keep the tablets or capsules in the original strip or bottle, below 30°C and away from moisture and sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
