BARFORTE OPTH SUS

Barforte ophthalmic suspension contains Prednisolone, a corticosteroid for the eye. It is used to reduce inflammation in and around the eye.

Uses:

1. Eye Inflammation: Barforte relieves redness, swelling, and irritation caused by eye inflammation or after eye surgery.
2. Allergic Eye Conditions: It may be used for certain allergic and inflammatory eye problems as prescribed.

Side Effects: Possible effects include temporary stinging, blurred vision, or, with long use, raised eye pressure. Regular eye checks may be advised for prolonged use.

When Not to Use:

1. Eye Infections: Do not use in untreated viral, bacterial, or fungal eye infections.
2. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if you are allergic to Prednisolone.

Shake well before use. Instil the number of drops advised by your doctor and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye. Do not stop suddenly after long courses without advice.
