Pacivan A 40/5mg Tablet is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Olmesartan & Amlodipine. It is formulated as an oral tablet and is primarily prescribed for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure).

Active Ingredients:

1. Olmesartan: Olmesartan is classified as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a substance in the body that constricts blood vessels, thereby allowing blood vessels to relax and widen. This action results in lowered blood pressure.
2. Amlodipine: Amlodipine belongs to the class of medications known as calcium channel blockers (CCBs).
