Alfa D 0.5mg Tablets contains Alfacalcidol (0.5mg). It comes as a tablet.

Alfacalcidol is an active form of vitamin D used when the body cannot fully activate ordinary vitamin D, often because of kidney disease. It supports calcium balance and bone health.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Alfa D 0.5mg Tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Nausea
  • Headache

Precautions
