Like all medicines, Amodip 5mg Tab can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

Ankle swelling is a common effect and is not usually harmful, but tell your doctor if it bothers you. Do not stop the medicine on your own, as blood pressure can rise again. Grapefruit juice can increase the amount of amlodipine in the body, so limit it.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Amodip 5mg Tab exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
