Bio Om 40mg capsule contains Omeprazole 40mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid.

Uses:

1. Acidity and Heartburn: It relieves acid reflux, heartburn, and sour burps, including in GERD.
2. Ulcers and Acid Damage: It helps heal and prevent stomach and duodenal ulcers.

Side Effects: Common side effects include headache, diarrhoea, nausea, or stomach pain. Long-term use may affect magnesium or vitamin B12 levels.

When Not to Use:

1. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to proton pump inhibitors.
