Ciproxin Injection 0.2Gm 100Ml (Bayr) 4732 is prescribed for treating bacterial infections of the urinary tract, chest, skin and other areas. Use it only as advised by your doctor.
Used correctly, it clears a wide range of bacterial infections quickly when used correctly.
The active ingredient is Ciprofloxacin. It stops bacteria from copying their DNA, so they cannot multiply. This targeted action is what makes it effective for its approved uses.
Always use it exactly as your doctor prescribes. The right amount depends on your age, condition and response, so never increase, reduce or stop it on your own. If you are unsure, check the leaflet or ask your pharmacist.
Like all medicines, it may cause side effects in some people, such as nausea, diarrhoea, headache or dizziness; rarely tendon problems. These are often mild and settle on their own, but seek medical advice if any are severe or persistent.
Complete the full course; avoid with dairy/antacids at the same time; report tendon pain. Tell your doctor about your full medical history, allergies and any other medicines or supplements you take. Generally avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless essential.
