Overview

Crandel tablet contains Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), a vitamin D supplement. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin D deficiency.

Uses

  1. Vitamin D Deficiency: Crandel restores healthy vitamin D levels with convenient tablet dosing.
  2. Bone and Muscle Health: Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium for strong bones and teeth and normal muscle function.

Side Effects

Crandel is well tolerated at recommended doses. Excess vitamin D can raise blood calcium, causing nausea, weakness, or increased thirst.

When Not to Use

  1. High Blood Calcium: Do not use if you have hypercalcaemia.
  2. Vitamin D Toxicity: Avoid in known vitamin D excess.
  3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if you are allergic to any ingredient.

Take Crandel as advised, ideally with food for better absorption. Your doctor may check your vitamin D level from time to time. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
