Like all medicines, Defnac 75mg tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

Take diclofenac with or straight after food to protect the stomach. Long-term or high-dose use raises the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding, and can affect the kidneys and heart, so it is best used at the lowest dose for the shortest time. Avoid it if you have a history of stomach ulcers, and never combine it with another NSAID.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Defnac 75mg tablet exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
