Derm Cream 60gm is used for inflammatory skin conditions. Use it exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has advised, and do not use it for longer than recommended.

Clobetasol cream 30gm diluted with aqueous cream 30gm (1:1 steroid dilution).

How Derm Cream 60gm works

Clobetasol is a strong corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching. Diluting it with a base makes a milder preparation for longer or wider use, as directed by your doctor.

Aqueous cream is a light emollient base that softens and moisturises the skin.

Possible side effects

Most people use this product without problems. Some may notice:

  • Burning or stinging when first applied
  • Thinning of the skin with prolonged use

Precautions

  • This contains a strong steroid. Do not use it on the face or on large areas, or for longer than your doctor advises.
  • Do a small patch test first, and keep it away from the eyes, lips, inside of the nose and broken skin unless your doctor says otherwise.
  • Stop using it and see your doctor if you notice severe redness, swelling, blistering or a rash.
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using it on children, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
