FEROFIRST TABLET

Ferofirst tablet contains Iron, Vitamin B12, and Folic Acid. This combination is used to prevent and treat anaemia.

Uses:

1. Iron-Deficiency and Nutritional Anaemia: Ferofirst helps restore haemoglobin levels and relieve tiredness and weakness.
2. Pregnancy and Recovery Support: It supports the higher needs of pregnancy, growth, and recovery after blood loss.

Side Effects: Side effects are usually mild and may include dark stools, which are harmless, along with mild constipation, nausea, or stomach upset.

When Not to Use:

1. Iron-Overload Disorders: Do not use in conditions such as haemochromatosis or thalassaemia without proven deficiency.
2. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if you are allergic to any ingredient.

Take Ferofirst as prescribed, ideally with a source of vitamin C for better absorption. Keep it away from children, as iron overdose is dangerous. Space it apart from tea, milk, calcium, and antacids.
