About this product
Overview
Funasole cream contains Terbinafine 1%, an antifungal for the skin. It is used to treat fungal skin infections.
Uses
- Fungal Skin Infections: It treats ringworm, athletes foot, jock itch, and other fungal skin infections.
- Itch and Scaling Relief: It clears the infection and eases the associated itching and scaling.
Side Effects
Usually well tolerated. Some people may notice mild redness, itching, or a burning feeling at the site.
When Not to Use
- Hypersensitivity: Avoid if you are allergic to Terbinafine.
- Eyes and Broken Skin: Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply to deep or open wounds.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and a little beyond its edge once or twice daily as directed. Continue for the full recommended period to prevent the infection returning.
