OZIRIS 20MG/5ML ORAL SYRUP

Oziris syrup contains Zinc Sulphate, a zinc supplement. It is used to correct zinc deficiency and, in children, as support during diarrhoea.

Uses:

1. Zinc Deficiency: It restores healthy zinc levels, which support immunity, growth, and skin health.
2. Diarrhoea Support in Children: Zinc is used alongside ORS to reduce the severity and duration of childhood diarrhoea.

Side Effects: Usually well tolerated. High doses may cause nausea or a metallic taste.

When Not to Use:

1. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to zinc salts.
2. High-Dose Supplements: Avoid combining with other high-dose zinc products.

Take the dose advised by your doctor, ideally with food to reduce stomach upset. For childhood diarrhoea, continue ORS and fluids.
