Qalsan – D -Flavors-Orange tablet is a calcium and vitamin D supplement from GSK Consumer Healthcare. Its active ingredient is Vitamin D3. Pack: 30 tablets.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) helps the body absorb calcium and keeps bones, muscles and the immune system working well. Deficiency is very common in Pakistan, and supplements come as tablets, sachets, drops and injection.

Qalsan – D -Flavors-Orange tablet is used to treat or manage:

  • Osteoporosis
  • Vitamin D deficiency

Side Effects of Qalsan – D -Flavors-Orange tablet

Not everyone gets side effects. Those reported include:

  • Constipation
  • Wind or bloating
  • Stomach upset

Get medical help straight away for signs of a serious reaction, such as swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing or a severe rash.

Before You Use Qalsan – D -Flavors-Orange tablet

  • Take it with food for better absorption.
  • Keep a gap of a few hours between it and iron, thyroid medicines or some antibiotics.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney stones, high calcium or kidney disease.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C in the original pack. Do not use after the expiry date, and keep all medicines away from children.
