Tamsol D Capsules 30s contains Tamsulosin HCL. It comes as a capsule.

Tamsulosin relaxes the muscle around the prostate and bladder outlet, making it easier to pass urine. It is used for prostate-related urinary symptoms in men.

Uses of Tamsol D Capsules 30s

Tamsol D Capsules 30s is used for:

  • Urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate
  • Difficulty starting or maintaining urine flow

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Tamsol D Capsules 30s can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Dizziness, especially on standing
  • Blocked nose
  • Changes in ejaculation

Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.

Precautions

Tamsulosin can lower blood pressure when you stand, especially with the first dose, so take care getting up. Tell your eye surgeon you take tamsulosin before any cataract surgery, as it can affect the procedure. It treats symptoms and does not shrink the prostate.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to Use

Take Tamsol D Capsules 30s exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
