UBETRIL 24MG/26MG TABLET (Sacubitril & Valsartan) is a medication used to treat heart failure. It contains a combination of sacubitril, an angiotensin receptor neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI), and valsartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB).

Description:

• Sacubitril and valsartan work together to improve heart function and reduce symptoms of heart failure.
• Sacubitril blocks the action of neprilysin, an enzyme that breaks down beneficial natriuretic peptides. By blocking neprilysin, sacubitril increases the levels of these peptides, which helps the heart function better.
• Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that constricts blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By blocking angiotensin II, valsartan relaxes blood vessels and reduces blood pressure.

• To treat heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in adults.
