Like all medicines, Zerifax 200mg can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

It is not suitable for diarrhoea with fever or blood in the stool. Tell your doctor if you have severe liver disease. Report severe diarrhoea that starts during or after treatment.
Tell your doctor about any other medicines or supplements you take, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take Zerifax 200mg exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Swallow it with a glass of water. Do not change the dose or stop taking it on your own. Read the leaflet inside the pack before you start.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
