Zoliget Tablets 30mg/4mg is a combination medicine that contains Pioglitazone and Glimepiride. It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 14 tablets in a pack.
This medicine combines 2 diabetes medicines that work in different ways. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea that prompts the pancreas to release more insulin; Pioglitazone is a glitazone that helps the body respond better to its own insulin.

Side Effects
Like all medicines, Zoliget Tablets 30mg/4mg can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Low blood sugar (sweating, shaking, hunger)
- Weight gain
- Swelling of the ankles

Precautions
Learn the signs of low blood sugar and keep something sugary with you. It is not suitable for people with heart failure. Tell your doctor about sudden weight gain, breathlessness or swelling. Tell your doctor if you have or have had bladder cancer, or notice blood in your urine.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
