Empaxo M 12.5/1000mg Tablet is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Empagliflozin & Metformin Hydrochloride. It is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to help control blood sugar levels.

Components:

• Empagliflozin: Belongs to the class of medications known as sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It reduces the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, leading to increased urinary excretion of glucose and lower blood sugar levels.
