AMZOL 400MG TABLET 100S

Amzol 400mg tablet contains Albendazole, an anti-worm (anthelmintic) medicine. It is used to treat worm and parasitic infections.

Uses:

1. Worm Infections: Amzol treats common intestinal worm infections, such as roundworm, hookworm, threadworm, and tapeworm.
2. Deworming: A single dose is often used for routine deworming, as advised.

Side Effects: Usually well tolerated for short courses. Possible effects include stomach upset, headache, or nausea.

When Not to Use:

1. Pregnancy: Avoid in pregnancy unless your doctor advises otherwise.
2. Liver Disease: Use with care and monitoring for long courses.
3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to Albendazole.

Take with food for better absorption. For some infections the dose is repeated after two weeks. Treating the whole household may be advised for threadworm.
