Cetirizine dihydrochloride is a second generation antihistamine. It blocks histamine to relieve allergy symptoms and causes far less drowsiness than older antihistamines, since only a small amount enters the brain.

Arix 10mg Tablets 30s is used for:

  • Allergic rhinitis, with sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes
  • Hives and itchy skin
  • Dust, pollen and pet allergy
  • Itching from insect bites and eczema

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Arix 10mg Tablets 30s can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:

  • Mild drowsiness in some people
  • Dry mouth
  • Headache
  • Tiredness

Precautions

Although it is described as non drowsy, a proportion of people do feel sleepy on it, so see how it affects you before driving, and avoid alcohol with it. Taking it in the evening suits many people.
