Side Effects of Co Olan 3/25mg Capsule

Not everyone gets side effects. Those reported include:

  • Increased appetite and weight gain
  • Drowsiness

  • Raised blood sugar or cholesterol

Before You Use Co Olan 3/25mg Capsule

  • Your doctor will monitor your weight, blood sugar and cholesterol, and watch closely for changes in mood, especially in young adults and early in treatment.
  • Do not stop it suddenly; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
  • Do not take it with MAOI antidepressants, pimozide or thioridazine, and tell your doctor about all other medicines, as many interact with fluoxetine.
  • Avoid alcohol, and do not drive until you know how it affects you.
  • Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, epilepsy, glaucoma, heart disease or a bleeding disorder, and discuss pregnancy and breastfeeding before starting.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C in the original pack. Do not use after the expiry date, and keep all medicines away from children.
