EMJARD L 5/25MG TABLET

Emjard L tablet contains Empagliflozin (25mg) and Linagliptin (5mg). It is used to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes.

Uses:

1. Type 2 Diabetes Control: It lowers blood glucose when diet and exercise alone are not enough.
2. Dual Action: Empagliflozin removes excess sugar through the urine, while linagliptin helps the body release more insulin after meals.

Side Effects: Common side effects include urinary or genital infections, increased urination, a stuffy nose, or headache.

When Not to Use:

1. Severe Kidney Impairment: Do not use if kidney function is significantly reduced.
2. Type 1 Diabetes or Ketoacidosis: Not suitable for these conditions.
3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to either ingredient.
