This combination adds vitamin K2 to the familiar calcium and vitamin D3 pairing. D3 helps the gut absorb calcium, and K2 is involved in directing that calcium into bone, which is the reasoning behind putting all three together.

Side Effects of K-1000 Plus Sachets

  • Mild stomach discomfort

Before You Use K-1000 Plus Sachets

  • If you take warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist blood thinner, do not use K-1000 Plus Sachets without your doctor’s advice, as vitamin K can reduce its effect.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney stones, kidney disease, high blood calcium or sarcoidosis.
  • Space it a few hours apart from iron, thyroxine and antibiotics such as tetracyclines or quinolones.
  • Avoid taking other calcium or vitamin D supplements at the same time unless advised.
  • Check with your doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Keep sachets sealed until use and protect them from moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
