About this product

Overview

Lamkin 2mg capsule contains Loperamide, an anti-diarrhoeal medicine. It is used to control acute and short-term diarrhoea.

Uses

  1. Diarrhoea Control: It slows down bowel movements to reduce the frequency of loose stools.
  2. Travel and Acute Diarrhoea: It gives quick relief from sudden, non-infective diarrhoea.

Side Effects

Common side effects include constipation, stomach cramps, bloating, or dizziness.

When Not to Use

  1. Blood in Stool or High Fever: Do not use if there is blood in the stool or a high fever, as these need medical care.
  2. Young Children: Avoid in young children unless advised by a doctor.
  3. Hypersensitivity: Avoid if allergic to Loperamide.

Drink plenty of fluids and use ORS to prevent dehydration. Do not exceed the recommended dose. See a doctor if diarrhoea lasts more than two days.
