LOMOXY 125MG SYRUP

Lomoxy 125mg syrup contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin-group antibiotic. This dry suspension is made into a syrup and is commonly used for children.

Uses:

1. Bacterial Infections: Lomoxy treats infections of the chest, throat, ear, sinuses, urinary tract, and skin caused by susceptible bacteria.
2. Paediatric Use: The easy-to-take syrup form is suitable for treating common childhood bacterial infections.

Side Effects: Common side effects include diarrhoea, nausea, or a mild skin rash. Seek immediate care for any severe rash, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing, as these may signal an allergy.

When Not to Use:

1. Penicillin Allergy: Do not use if you are allergic to penicillin or amoxicillin.
2. Severe Antibiotic Reaction: Avoid if you have had a serious reaction to antibiotics before.
