Ofloxacin: Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Dexamethasone: Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and calms an overactive immune response.

Before You Use Medioflox D E/D 5ml

  • Do not use it for viral or fungal eye infections, such as herpes of the eye, as the steroid can make them worse.
  • Using steroid drops for long periods can raise eye pressure and cause cataracts, so use them only for as long as prescribed; tell your doctor if you have glaucoma.
  • Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye.
  • Remove contact lenses before use unless advised otherwise, and leave a few minutes between different eye drops.
  • Do not drive until your vision is clear, and speak to your doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store below 30°C with the cap on. Note the date you open it, because drops and sprays should be discarded after the in-use period on the label. Keep away from children.
