This combination medication works by reducing the strain on the heart and improving its function.
Sabsar 97mg+103mg Tablet is a bilayer tablet, with each layer containing Sacubitril 97mg and Valsartan 103mg respectively. The tablet is oval-shaped and may vary in color depending on the manufacturer.
Heart Failure: Sabsar 97mg+103mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in adults to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure.
Common side effects of Sabsar 97mg+103mg Tablet may include hypotension (low blood pressure), dizziness, hyperkalemia (high potassium levels), cough, and renal impairment. It may also increase the risk of angioedema, especially in patients with a history of angioedema.
Sabsar 97mg+103mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with renal impairment, hypotension, hyperkalemia, or liver impairment.
It should not be used during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the unborn baby.
Patients should avoid potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of hyperkalemia.
When Not to Use:
Sabsar 97mg+103mg Tablet is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Sacubitril, Valsartan, or any other ingredients in the tablet. It should not be used concomitantly with ACE inhibitors or within 36 hours of switching from an ACE inhibitor to Sacubitril/Valsartan therapy due to the risk of angioedema.
