Overview
Urilef 100mg Tablets contains Phenazopyridine (100mg). It comes as a tablet. The pack contains 30 tablets in a pack.
Phenazopyridine is a urinary pain reliever. It soothes the lining of the bladder and urinary tract.
Uses of Urilef 100mg Tablets
Urilef 100mg Tablets is used for:
- Short-term relief of pain, burning and urgency when passing urine
- Discomfort from urinary tract infections, together with an antibiotic
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Urilef 100mg Tablets can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common ones include:
- Orange or red urine (harmless)
- Headache
- Upset stomach
Tell your doctor if a side effect is severe or does not go away.
Precautions
It relieves symptoms but does not treat infection, so an antibiotic may also be needed. It is used for a short time only. It can stain contact lenses and clothes. Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems or G6PD deficiency.

How to Use

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, as directed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
